Your Daily Streak for the Cash

[Ed. Note: I will be providing a daily picks list for espn.com's Streak for the Cash, which allows you to pick prop bets that have been posted on the game page found here for a chance to win $1 million. These picks are to be played on June 11, 2009 and you can only pick one matchup at a time, so you have to let the first matchup end before you can pick the next.]

PGA St. Jude (Memphis, TN): Which PLAYER will CARD a LOWER BACK NINE SCORE? (Holes 10-18)

8:27 AM

Golf
Phil Mickelson (USA)

Padraig Harrington (IRL)

Phil Mickelson will be playing with a heavy heart at the PGA tour event this week. Mickelson had suspended his golf playing indefinately after his wife had been diagnosed with breat cancer, and this is his first tour event since May presumably since it is sponsored by St. Jude, an organization that is very active in cancer research. I doubt that he has been practicing much and he is bound to be a little bit rusty and thus his first round score will not be very good. Look for Padraig Harrington to card a lower back nine score.

Who will WIN this Matchup?
4:35 PM

MLB
Cincinnati Reds (30-27) Owings

@ Washington Nationals (15-41) Lannan

The Washington Nationals are terrible. They just had the first pick in the MLB draft and are at risk of not being able to sign him because his price is too high. Enough said. The Cininnati Reds will win.

Who will WIN this Matchup? (Lakers Lead 2-1)
9:00 PM

NBA
Los Angeles Lakers (65-17)

@ Orlando Magic (59-23)

After the Lakers Game 3 defeat, I believe they will be ready and able to win Game 4 to take a 3-1 series lead. Even though the Magic shot an astounding 62.5% from the field and Kobe Bryant only made 3 of his final 15 shots, the Magic only won by 4 points. It is highly unlikely that those two events will occur again, and I'm willing to bet that Kobe will have a better finish to the game than start. Look for the the Lakers to win what will be a closely played game throughout, but one in which Kobe will inevitably take over in the end.
U.S. Win Streak: 0
U.S. Overall Record: 3-2
