This video is from the 2008 Scripps National Spelling Bee from a couple weeks ago. I may be a little late with this, but I don't care because I'm trying to get a little momentum going. Here is young Sameer Mishra who mistakes the the word 'numnah' for 'numb nuts'. It's just a funny moment, and I decided to share it. Sameer later went on to win the entire Spelling Bee with the winning word being 'guerdon'. To quote rapper Webbie, who taught millions of kids how to spell 'independent', "Do you know what that mean?" Fittingly, 'guerdon' means "something that one has earned or gained." So, a belated congrats from Kabob Evans to Sameer for making his over-bearing parents proud.
